Apple Teething Rings


Yummy for teething babies, kids, and adults!

2 large apples

Preheat oven to 200.  Remove cores. Slice apples crosswise to create a circle slice (I use a mandoline slicer to get the slices thin but using a knife will work just fine if you don't have a slicer). Place slices on a baking sheet* (to prevent a mess, place 2 pieces of parchment paper** on baking sheet) and bake for 1-2 hours (bake until dry or leathery, whatever you prefer) Let cool completely before placing in a container to store.  These stay good for about a week. Enjoy!

*if making for kids or adults you can sprinkle some cinnamon on the slices to add flavor

**parchment paper and wax paper a very different things.  Avoid using wax paper because it burns really easily
